NOW CASTING LIVE SHOPPING HOSTS

Get paid to show products on camera.

Live shopping is like home shopping TV, but on your phone. You show a product, viewers ask questions in the chat, and they buy without leaving the stream. Brands need people who can do it well, and we’ll train you.

  • Earn up to 20% of what you sell on remote shows
  • Hylo never takes a cut of your commission
  • Free to apply, no inventory to buy
  • No experience needed

Open to US-based hosts. Remote shows pay commission only, so you earn when viewers buy.

HOW YOU GET PAID

Your commission is yours. We don’t take a cut.

On remote shows you earn up to 20% commission on what you sell. The rate depends on the brand, and you see it before you accept a campaign. Brands pay Hylo separately, so nothing comes out of your commission.

Pay is commission only. If a show doesn’t sell, there’s no commission for it. You never pay to join or buy inventory, and brands send the product samples you demonstrate.

Applying does not guarantee a show, repeat work, or earnings.

You don’t need to be an influencer.

Most people who would make great hosts have never streamed. What matters is explaining a product clearly, staying friendly when people ask questions, and showing up prepared.

Host questions.

How do I get paid?
On remote shows you earn up to 20% commission on what you sell, depending on the brand. Brands pay Hylo separately, so we never take a cut of your commission. You see the rate for each campaign before you accept it.
What if I don’t sell anything?
Then that show earns no commission, because pay on remote shows is commission only. You never pay to join or buy inventory, and the brand provides the product sample.
Do I have to buy products or pay to join?
No. Applying is free, and brands send the product samples you demonstrate. You never buy inventory.
Do I need previous live shopping experience?
No. Tell us about your on-camera experience and product interests. Some campaigns will require more experience than others.
What following do I need to go LIVE?

It depends on the platform and the account that will host the stream. For U.S. live shopping:

  • TikTok Shop affiliate: At least 1,000 followers, age 18+, U.S. residency, and TikTok Shop approval. See TikTok Shop’s creator policy.
  • TikTok Shop brand-linked account: Official and marketing accounts have no follower minimum to bind to a seller, but TikTok’s LIVE access and compliance checks still apply. See account types.
  • Whatnot: Its seller application lists no follower minimum. You need seller access before hosting a sales show; some categories need extra approval. See Whatnot’s application rules.
  • YouTube mobile LIVE: At least 50 subscribers, a verified channel, and no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. See YouTube’s mobile requirements.

If a campaign uses a brand’s account, that account’s access matters. These are platform requirements, not a minimum following to apply to Hylo. Rules checked September 2026; we confirm eligibility again before each campaign.

Will I stream on my account or a brand’s account?
Either may be possible. The account, responsibilities, and setup are agreed for the specific campaign.
Can I host remotely?
Remote opportunities may be available when your setup and the campaign requirements fit. Share your location and preferences when you apply.
Do I have to live in Dallas?
No. You need to be based in the United States, but not in Dallas. In-person sessions take place at Hylo Studios in Downtown Dallas, and remote opportunities depend on the campaign.
Is pay different at the Dallas studio?
Yes. Shows at Hylo Studios in Downtown Dallas have their own terms, such as an hourly rate or a flat fee plus commission. We explain them before you accept.
Do I need to buy equipment before applying?
No. Tell us what you currently have. We’ll discuss the setup required before you accept an opportunity.
